How Make Homemade Beet Juice
This Beet Juice recipe is a refreshing drink that is so easy to make and tastes great and is good for you. Beetroot juice is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to help your body detox and provide much-needed nutrients! Theses are some the benefits drinking beet juice. I like to have a glass of fresh beet juice at least 6 times a month.
Beet root juice is a natural detoxer and supports liver health, as “betaine” prevents excess fatty deposits in the liver.
It contains vitamins and minerals, including calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, selenium, folate, potassium, and vitamin C.
Vitamin C is an incredible antioxidant that helps boost the immune system, is anti-inflammatory, and increases iron absorption and wound healing. It’s also great for skin health.
Vitamin C & Zinc boosts the immune system during cold/flu season.
Beet juice can lower blood pressure. The nitrates in the juice “relax” blood vessels and improve blood flow for improved heart health.
Nitrates also increase exercise stamina/levels and boost physical performance.
Beets contain betalains (which give them their color) and are antioxidants with anti-cancerous properties.
I used blender and strain the juice but you can also use a juicer.
2 - 3 Beetroot, chopped into 2-3 inch cubes
1-2 carrots, chopped
1 apple chopped
fresh ginger, 1 inch
1/2 lemon, only use the flesh
16 oz water
1 1/2 cup pineapple juice
Note:make sure you have enough liquid to get a good liquidity consistency.
Wash the beets and fruits and vegetables well. Chop
Transfer them to the blender .
Add water and pineapple juice
Blend until smooth and a juice consistency.
Transfer the mixture to a fine mesh strainer to strain the juice from the pulp.
