Instructions
1. Prepare the Seasoning
In a small bowl, combine the salt, mesquite seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, DivineKuizine Sugar Spice, and seasoning salt.
Mix well to evenly distribute all of the seasonings.
2. Season the Ribs
Pat the beef ribs dry.
Generously rub the seasoning mixture over all sides of the ribs, making sure the meat is well coated.
Drizzle the ribs lightly with olive oil and rub it into the seasoning.
3. Prepare the Spritz
In a spray bottle, combine apple cider vinegar and water.
Keep the mixture nearby while the ribs cook so you can spritz the ribs throughout the smoking process.
4. Smoke the Beef Ribs
Prepare your grill for low-and-slow cooking with smoke.
Place the seasoned beef ribs on the grill and cook slowly for approximately 2½ hours.
During the cooking process, periodically spray the ribs with the apple cider vinegar and water mixture to help keep them juicy.
5. Add the Mango BBQ Sauce
When the ribs are close to being finished, generously brush them with DivineKuizine Mango BBQ Sauce.
Allow the sauce to cook onto the ribs until it creates a flavorful, glossy glaze.
For an extra saucy finish, add another layer of Mango BBQ Sauce before removing the ribs from the grill.
6. Rest and Serve
Remove the ribs from the grill and allow them to rest briefly before slicing.
Cut between the bones, serve, and enjoy!
Why Sugar Spice Works in This Recipe
Don't let the name fool you—DivineKuizine Sugar Spice isn't just for sweet dishes.
The blend of warm spices adds another layer of flavor to the BBQ seasoning. Combined with the mesquite seasoning and smoked paprika, it helps create a savory rub with just the right touch of sweetness.
That sweetness also complements the tangy mango BBQ sauce, bringing the entire recipe together.
