Strawberry Waffles with DK Apple Fritter Mix

INGREDIENTS:

For the waffles: 1 Package of DivineKuizine apple fritter mix. 3/4 cups buttermilk optional or can use milk or cream 2 eggs, lightly beaten 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 tablespoons milk or cream

Cooking Spray

1 lb fresh strawberries hulled, then halved or quartered

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.

Place the flour mixture , in a large bowl. Add the eggs, vanilla and milk to the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Slowly add the butter, stirring constantly. Coat the waffle iron plates with cooking spray and cook the waffles according to manufacturer's directions. While the waffles are cooking, cut up strawberries and make glaze. Mix glaze mix and milk together to make glaze to drizzle over waffles. Drizzle glaze over waffles and top with fresh strawberries.
