Caprese Lasagna Rolls

These single lasagna rolls are filled with nice creamy cheese filling, fresh tomatoes , fresh basil , topped with homemade tomato sauce. It will take you to prepare 15 minutes. Yes 15 minutes!!
Lasagna roll ups are or can be just the same as your regular lasagna recipe! The Difference is that we are individually wrapping the ingredients up into one savory delicious roll! This recipe is for caprese roll ups.
10 lasagna noodles ; uncooked
· 14 oz Mozzarella cheese ; freshly shredded/ divided
· 3/4 cups ricotta cheese
4 oz Cream cheese- soften
· 1 large egg
· 1/3 cups Parmesan cheese ; fresh and finely shredded
· 3-4 medium roma tomatoes ; thinly sliced
· 1/4 cups basil ; freshly chopped
· 2 cups homemade tomato sauce or high quality store bought is fine
· 1 cloves garlic ; finely minced
· salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta according to directions listed on pkg. Drain pasta ( do not rinse with water) and align lasagna noodles in a single layer .
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cream cheese , ricotta cheese and egg until well blended. Stir in Parmesan cheese garlic salt and pepper to taste.
Place some of the cheese mixture over each noodle and spread into an even layer, going from one end of the lasagna to the other.Top with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella; roll up the single lasagna noddle. Spread about 1/4 cup pasta sauce in the bottom of a dish pan. Align lasagna roll ups, seam side down in dish. Top each roll up with about 2 Tbsp of the pasta sauce( covering edges of pasta so they don't dry out while baking). Sprinkle top with remaining fresh Mozzarella. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
