Pasta Pasta!! I grew up on spaghetti. It was one of those meals my mom could make quick when she came home from work , was enough food to keep all of us full and could have some leftover for the next day.
The best thing about spaghetti it Is delicious, easy to make, and kid friendly ;my niece loves spaghetti or any kind of pasta. She truly has Italian blood in her she loves array of Italian dishes.
Here is my homemade spaghetti and meatballs recipe . my friends and family love it!
Makes 25 Preheat Oven 350F
1 pound of veal
1 pound sweet Italian Sausage
1/4 cup of 3 fresh shredded cheese Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago
1/4 cup of fresh parsley
1 tablespoon of dried oregano
salt and pepper
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 cup milk
1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
In a large bowl combine all ingredients .Mix all ingredients with your bare hands. Roll meatballs to about the size of a golf ball. place the meatballs on a non-stick baking sheets and cook for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Do not overcook.
I prefer homemade pasta it really takes any pasta dish to the next level. but store bought pasta is okay if you do not have any fresh. Add pasta to boiling water with salt and 1 tablespoon of oil. The salt gives pasta flavor and the oil is for the pasta no to stick to each other.
