I can't believe it's not steak! This Vegan Pepper Steak with Mushrooms is a one pot, “meaty” vegetarian dish. It’s loaded with mushrooms, peppers, and onions and has great depth of flavor. Seasoned with a few cloves of garlic, some minced ginger and DivineKuizine Jerk sauce and sugar spice. Served over rice, it’s total comfort food. This stir fry is super easy to make and comes together in minutes once the prep work is done.
I marinated the mushrooms in DivineKuizine jerk sauce. This saucy and delicious Jerk mushroom Pepper Steak comes together in under 20 minutes, making it a great choice for a healthy weeknight meal.

Ingredients:
▢1 package (10 oz) sliced mushrooms; I used oyster and portobello )
▢2 tablespoons olive oil use water or veggie broth for an oil-free option
▢1 yellow or white onion sliced thin
▢1 red onion sliced thin
▢1 green bell pepper seeded and cut into bite-size pieces
▢1 red bell pepper seeded and cut into bite-size pieces
▢1 orange pepper seeded and cut into bite-size pieces
▢1 Jalapeño pepper seeded and cut into bite-size pieces
▢1 garlic clove , minced
▢ 1-2 thyme sprigs
▢ 1-2 teaspoon each onion powder, season pepper, salt, garlic powder, and mesquite steak seasoning
▢ 1-2 tablespoon DivineKuizine Sugar Spice
▢ 2 teaspoon each Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinaigrette, and pickapeppa sauce
▢ 1-2 tablespoon DivineKuizine Jerk Sauce
▢ 2-3 tablespoon olive oil
▢ 1-2 tablespoon butter
▢2 cups cooked rice for serving
Instructions
Seasoned and add the slice mushrooms , ginger , thyme, onion powder, season pepper, salt, garlic powder, mesquite steak seasoning, DivineKuizine Sugar Spice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinaigrette, and pickapeppa sauce and DivineKuizine Jerk Sauce.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large non-stick pan over medium heat on the stove. . Add the onions, bell peppers and sauté 3 to 4 minutes. Add the sliced marinated mushrooms stirring frequently, for about 1-2 minutes, Add Pho Broth cover stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thickened. about 10-15 minutes.
Serve hot over rice and garnished with fresh parsley
