Jerk Chicken Gyro Recipe

Jerk Chicken gyros marinated DivineKuizine Jerk rub cooked to perfection, with creamy tzatziki using sauce tomato cucumber salad and color peppers sweetened with DivineKuizine sugar spice and wrapped in naana or pita bread. These jerk chicken gyros are easy, and flavorful, perfect lunch or dinner meal.  Just a burst of flavors in your mouth Jerk marinated chicken , creamy cucumber dill tzatziki, fresh crisp veggies, and peppers tangy feta wrapped in warm pita bread is out of this world. What I’ve created is my version of a chicken gyro; I’ve included a bit of a twist with the peppers But that’s just me – you can freestyle this recipe as much as you want!

Jerk Chicken Marinate

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon green seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon complete seasoning

  • ¼ teaspoon salt + a little pepper

  • 2 tablespoon DivineKuizine Jerk Rub

  • 1 scotch bonnet

  • 2-3 fresh thyme sprigs

  • 1 ½ lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or you can use boneless breasts, whichever you prefer

Tomato Cucumber Salad

  • grape tomato, diced (about 3 cups diced tomatoes)

  • 1 cucumber, diced

  • ½ small red onion, chopped

  • ¾ bunch parsley, leaves and tender stems chopped (about ½-3/4 cup chopped leaves)

  • Kosher salt, to taste

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Kens Italian dressing


  • Mix: In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.

  • Season: season with salt and pepper ,add Kens Italian dressing. Give the salad a gentle toss. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your taste if need to.

Colored Peppers

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 cup color bell peppers( green, red, yellow ,orange stemmed, seeded and cut into ¼-inch strips

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons DivineKuizine sugar spice


  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions, peppers, salt and pepper , butter and DivineKuizine sugar spice.

  2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are caramelized and the peppers are tender and slightly browned, 15 minutes

For tzatziki


Combine altogether

To serve

  • Shredded Lettuce

  • Naan or Pita Bread


  • Brush the outdoor grill with oil, then preheat on medium high. Or heat 1 tbsp of oil in a fry pan over medium high heat.

  • Remove chicken from Marinade. Cook the chicken for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until cooked through (cooking time depends on size of chicken).

  • Remove the chicken from the grill / fry pan onto a plate. Cover loosely with foil and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.


  • Chop chicken into about inch pieces.

  • Get a pita bread or naan ( warm up your bread so it is pliable )

  • Spread some of the Tzatziki sauce on bread.

  • Then top with chicken , cucumber salad, lettuce, more tzatziki sauce, drizzle with DivineKuizine Jerk sauce

  • Roll the wrap up, enclosing it with the parchment paper. Twist the end with the excess parchment paper to secure it and cut if desired.
