Lemon Herb Garlic Chicken
Juicy lemon herb garlic chicken this is a perfect easy chicken recipe for quick tasty meal. The chicken is juicy, ultra flavorful, and easy to make. Add this one to your quick meals; you won’t regret it! The fresh lemon, parsley, thyme, and garlic. I made this recipe with boneless ,skinless chicken thighs, but you can swap them for chicken breast or even drumsticks.
Makes 4 servings
YOU WILL NEED 1 1/2 pounds chicken thighs, skinless boneless 1 fresh lemons- half to squeeze other half cut into slices 3 fresh thyme sprigs, remove from stems
handful fresh parsley, chopped 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt and pepper 3 tablespoons olive oil or grapeseed oil 2 garlic cloves, smashed 2 tablespoon butter
Heat tablespoon of oil in a large oven-safe skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add the smashed garlic then cook about 1 minute or until you can smell toasted garlic and the garlic has browned around the edges. Remove and discard the garlic, but leave the oil.
Add the chicken, into the hot garlic-infused oil and cook 1 minutes or until turned golden brown. Add thyme, parsley, butter and squeeze half lemon juice .
Preheat oven to 375 .Place the lemon slice on top of chicken. Bake for 25 minutes . Remove from oven garnish with parsley and enjoy; with rice or potatoes pour some of the sauce from the pan over your rice or potatoes.
