ROASTED RED PEPPER RICE WITH FALL OFF THE BONE TURKEY WINGS.
I love red rice with it's rich tomato flavor, roasted colored peppers, red onions , dried ancho peppers gives this sauce touch of sweetness, spicy and a hint of smokiness! This simple roasted red pepper rice recipe makes any dish come together within just a few minutes. These baked turkey wings have a perfectly seasoned with the same spices as the red rice. Red Rice Ingredients:
1 cup rice ( basmati rice )
1/2 red onion
1 poblano pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 orange bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
¾ cup rainbow tomatoes
1 garlic clove
4-5 dried ancho peppers
1 olive oil
1 -2 teaspoons spices: sazon seasoning, smoke paprika, garlic and onion powder, salt, season pepper, chili powder and chicken bullion
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon butter
Place all peppers, vegetables and garlic on a sheet pan pour a couple tablespoon olive oil on the pan. Roast on 425F for about 15 minutes.
Place all ingredients (except rice and butter) in blender and blend to smooth. Place about 1/3 cup of the roasted red pepper sauce aside for turkey wings. Heat over medium high heat add a tablespoon butter.
Add rice in skillet with about tsp olive oil stirring to coat
Pour in the roasted red pepper sauce , butter into the same skillet as rice, stirring to coat with the roasted red pepper sauce mixture.
Let the rice toast up in the tomato mixture for 2-3 minutes, stirring often. Then pour in the water and stir everything to combine.
Place top on skillet and let it cook on medium high heat until rice is complete cooked.

2.5 lbs turkey wings cut into sections if bought whole
1 large lemon cut into 4 wedges
2 tbsp olive oil you can substitute with oil of your choice
2 1/2 cup turkey or chicken broth or even water
Turkey Wing Seasoning: 1-2 teaspoon each
sazon seasoning, smoke paprika, garlic and onion powder, salt, season pepper, and chili powder.
Clean the turkey wings, then rub all surfaces of the wings with the lemon wedges.
Next, place the wings into a large bowl or dish, and drizzle the wings with the olive oil.
Sprinkle all of the seasoning onto the wings, then rub the seasonings all over the wings.
Remove the wings from the bowl and place them into an oiled baking dish.
In the bowl that the wings were in, there will be leftover seasonings. Pour 2 1/2 cups of broth or water into the bowl, stir, then pour the broth or water into the bake dish.
Cover the baking dish and cook the wings in the oven at 350 F for about 1 &1/2 hours to 2 hours
Periodically remove the wings from the oven and baste. Turkey wings are done when cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
For a crispy skin, remove the wings, uncover the baking dish, and place under the broiler for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking time.
Place some rice on place. Put turkey wings on top pour some of the reserved roasted red pepper sauce on top.
