Loaded Turkey Nachos Recipe

These Loaded Nachos with Turkey, Beans and Cheese are made with homemade tortilla chips, lean ground turkey, black bean, cheese , fresh guacamole. These turkey nachos are piled high with my favorite fixins. The best part is these nachos only take 20 minutes to make and I guarantee your family will love them.










SERVINGS 2-4 People

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 fresh corn tortillas

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar

  • 1 pound of ground turkey

  • 1 (15 oz) can of black beans, drained

  • 1-2 tablespoon tomato paste

  • 1/3 cup water

  • sour cream

  • 1-2 diced tomatoes

  • 1-2 green onions, finely sliced

  • 1 fresh jalapeno, diced

  • salsa verde

Spices to season turkey meat : teaspoon each salt, pepper, season salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and smoke paprika.


Guacamole

  • 1-2 avocados, ripe

  • ½ small yellow onion, finely diced

  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced

  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely diced

  • tsp sour cream

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl



Making /Assemble Nachos

  • Cut your fresh corn tortillas ;you don't need perfect triangular shapes. Fry in oil until crisp and golden.


  • Preheat t oven to 400 degrees °F.


  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble turkey . Add spices to turkey meat, tomato paste and water. Cook until fully cook.


  • Use a baking sheet or safe proof dish. Place chips on safe oven-proof dish or baking sheet. Add chips , top turkey meat , black bean , cheese repeat again.

  • Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted.


  • Top with tomatoes, green onions, jalapeno dollops, of sour cream and guacamole and salsa verde cilantro. Serve immediately.
