Thai Basil Pesto Shrimp Pasta

First of all, pasta. Second of all, this magical combination Thai Basil is shrimp , and coconut milk, you do not know what you are missing out.

Thai basil has a purple stem, and like other plants in the mint family, the stem is square. It has a spicy, licorice like flavor. DivineKuizine Sugar Spice bring a note of sweetness to the pesto and the coconut milk gives a slight creamy texture.

One of the best bits about cooking this Thai basil pesto pasta is that it is very simple. This dish is great for a nice couples dinner at home, girl night in , valentines day romantic meal. 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons of Butter

1 pound of Shrimp

Seasoning Shrimp:

1 garlic clove, minced

teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

teaspoon red pepper flakes

teaspoon salt

teaspoon shallots

teaspoon five spice

teaspoon seasoned pepper

1/2 cup coconut milk

1 package of fettuccine noodles

Thai Basil Pesto:

Handful Fresh Thai Basil

1/2 cup cashews

3 garlic cloves

Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese

1/2 lemon

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup Olive Oil


Parmesan cheese and Sun-Dried Tomatoes


Add olive oil and butter garlic and shrimp. Season shrimp with all spices. Adds shallots to the pan. Sauté shrimp for about 3 minutes. Remove shrimp from pan .

Thai Basil Pesto blend all ingredients in the blender.

Add cooked pasta to the same pan you sauté the shrimp in. Add Thai Basil pesto , 1/2 cup of coconut milk and shrimp to pan . Incorporate shrimp into noodles .

Garnish with Fresh Grated Parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.
